Academic & Graduation Honors

The Registrar will post a list of all students making a 4.0 grade point average on the President’s list and will post a list of all students making a 3.0 grade point average or higher on the Dean’s list. The student must carry a minimum of twelve hours per semester and must not receive any I’s, WF’s, D’s, or F’s during a semester.

To be eligible to receive honors the student must have made a 3.5 or higher grade point average for his or her entire academic record, completed at least sixty hours at Atlanta Baptist College, and completed all requirements for graduation.

Honor Grade Point Average

Cum Laude 3.50 – 3.69

Magna Cum Laude 3.70 – 3.84

Summa Cum Laude 3.85 – 4.00
