Our Philosophy

  • We desire to provide a base of curriculum that separates us from other liberal arts colleges. As a result, we strive to attain the classification of a local church school that offers graduate skills that can be applied directly to ministry.

  • We distinguish ourselves in education by presenting a conservative, traditional, Christian approach to education rather than the contemporary humanistic progressive approach. We believe that this approach supplies the student with the best possible programs and methods of study. The main emphasis of Atlanta Baptist College is that all teaching and learning be in accordance with the authority of God’s Holy Word.

  • We desire to provide the student with the proper preparation necessary to be trained in spiritual matters and to take his or her position in the local church to train others. We desire to present academia that exposes the student to the central theme of the Scriptures, mainly the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage each student to seek, through God’s leadership and prayer, God’s will for his or her life, and to provide the necessary education to fulfill that calling. We desire to provide an atmosphere of love and personal interest for each student.
